Enable .htaccess mod rewrite in Ubuntu

1. Open /etc/apache2/sites-enabled directory. Here you’ll find a file, open it for editing. Replace all AllowOverride None strings with AllowOverride All

2. Open your terminal & paste following:

sudo a2enmod rewrite

3. Restart Apache2. Enter following command in terminal:

sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

🙂
